Colin Blatchford-Brown

Colin is a Registered Building Inspector, a Chartered Building Control Surveyor, a Chartered Engineer, and an RICS Registered Expert Witness.

With a career in the building control profession that began in 1987, Colin has extensive experience working with local authorities and approved inspectors and providing consultancy services to the profession. Additionally, Colin spent two years working with the Building Safety Regulator as an operational policy lead and has since presented specialist CPDs on building regulations, the Building Act, and the Building Safety Act.



With an independent perspective on the issues affecting the profession, Colin has consistently recognised the dedication and professionalism of the building inspectors within the field.
